
NEUROSURGERY
Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Veyna completed his undergrad at Baylor University before achieving valedictorian honors at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He further honed his skills during a Fellowship at Louisiana State University. He completed his residency at Level 1 Trauma Center, Henry Ford Hospital, in Detroit.
For the last 25 years, Dr Veyna has served the Metro-Detroit area as a fellowship trained board-certified neurosurgeon. As a specialist, he often times will be matched with top facilities across the country to perform surgeries. Serving as a board member at the Michigan Head & Spine Institute and as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at both Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and Michigan State University School of Medicine, Dr. Veyna exemplifies his dedication to excellent patient outcomes and academic contributions.
Throughout his career, he has received a number of awards, holds memberships in esteemed medical societies, and is widely recognized for his patient centered approach to providing superior medical care. Dr Veyna specializes in traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries in adults and pediatrics. Utilizing the latest technologies, he works to relieve pain and restore quality of life for his patients suffering from a vast range of degenerative diseases and tumors of the spine, brain, and peripheral nerves. ​
